Ethical control approaches in expert control regimes

On Wednesday 8 November 2023, I gave this presentation on Ethical Control Approaches during the Erlangen Conference on export control of dual use knowledge, in Nuremberg, Germany. The focus was on collective responsibilities of academics, governments, and other stakeholders for balancing security and prevention of misuse of dual use knowledge for weapons of mass destruction and academic freedom and other civil liberties.
